Rick Bata

Rick lives in San Jose, CA with his lovely wife and their handful of cats. He has been involved in writing, directing, and editing films for well over a decade. However, it wasn’t until a few years ago he decided to “kick his writing up a notch” and enroll in film school. Rick is currently working on his BFA in Screenwriting while attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He has one feature-length screenplay completed and is in the early “procrastination stage” of out-lining his next. When he is not staring at a blank screen Rick likes to play golf, relax at home with a cold brew, and run uphill backwards while it’s raining.
